  1. Dynamics 365 CE with the main focus around Sales and a proven development experience – 5 years
  2. Experience of both on premise and cloud is critical with good coverage of different versions
  3. Experience with SharePoint including Setup, Admin and Configuration
  4. Ability to undertake requirements gathering, prepare specifications and review business process along with the consultants
  5. .Net, C# and Java code
  6. Team player to work with others but show clear leadership skills in this field and a desire to help increase the knowledge of those you work with

Software Developer

Implementation Consultant

We are looking for someone to join in our growth in the Microsoft Dynamics Business Central marketplace, who believes in our ideals and who can provide the right skills and attitude for our new Implementation Consultant position. You would be joining our dedicated team, working across our offices in Preston, Manchester and Cambridge. Our customer base is mainly the UK and there will be little or no international travel. The ideal candidate must be able to lead and/or take part in projects and focus on the implementation and delivery of software applications. During this time, you will be accountable to the Professional Services Director.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage software implementations or projects from inception to customer sign off
  2. Participate in discovery, design, planning, deployment
  3. Configure Business Central application for customer environment
  4. Ability to utilise and train Customers on BI tools, such as Jet and Power BI
  5. Consulting – covering all aspects of presale, analysis and Implementation and Support
  6. Assist in improving business processes
  7. Provide end-user training where applicable.

Knowledge / Experience

  1. Minimum 3 years of work experience as an implementation consultant
  2. Experience working with NAV, Business Central and SQL Server
  3. Strong experience understanding ERP Processes
  4. Experience with solution design, documentation, training, and analysis
  5. Well versed in software testing including Unit testing, UAT testing and User Story testing
  6. Experience working in the distribution area (namely logistics and Omnichannel sales)

Software Technician (Pegasus Opera/Microsoft Business Central)

Synergy Technology are looking for a Software Technician specialising in Pegasus Opera and Microsoft Business Central. In this role, you will provide the end-user with support and customer service on company-supported applications and platforms. We require someone who will troubleshoot problems and advise on the appropriate action required, response and take ownership of requests as per Service Level Agreements (SLA). Some on-site consultancy and installation of software, followed by client training, will be a part of the role as well. Also, this role requires constantly challenging what we do and how we do it to ensure our services are the best they can be for our clients, in which you will be accountable to the Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  5. Diagnose and resolve customer issues and queries relating to the relevant product

Sales Manager/Director

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and self-managing sales role position for Business Central, SuperOffice and Pegasus Opera. We are looking for a Sales Manager/Director to work within a well-establish and experienced sales team, with a good understanding of accounting systems and the working of a commercial business, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Client meetings to review, develop, upgrade and sell hardware and software
  2. Regular customer review meetings to discuss, manage and maintain existing customer relationships in line with developing their business and ensuring they are happy. For visits per year to each client who are based UK wide with a blend of customers. Much of the week will be spent visiting customers (typically 4 days each week)
  3. Client retention and growth
  4. Closing opportunities and achieving sales goals including any new business opportunities.
  5. Providing post-sales management and development
  6. Liaison with the Project Manager for implementations and upgrades
  7. Liaison with 3rd parties, vendors and suppliers

Apprentice Application Software Technician (Accounting Software)

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to get started in a career in IT support. Working within a well-established and experienced technical team and reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will involve supporting our clients with their software systems. A mentor within the team will be assigned to you to guide and teach you through your two-year development program.

You will be required to learn all aspects of the software products we use and support which are Dynamics NAV and Pegasus Opera. This learning process will be both on job training and classroom-based courses with formal exams. The exams will lead to accreditation to enable you to provide support services for clients on each of these products.
