Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Cold Caller to join our sales team. The primary responsibility of this role is to generate leads by reaching out to prospective clients and introducing them to our SaaS-based business applications. The ideal candidate will be a persuasive communicator with a passion for sales, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Lead Generation
- Proactively make outbound calls to prospective customers and businesses and promote our SaaS software business applications.
- Generate new sales leads through cold calling and following up email campaigns.
- Qualify leads by identifying potential customers’ needs and budget and scheduling product demos or further discussions for qualified prospects with the account management team.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly lead generation targets.
- Handle objections and rejections professionally, turning challenges into opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine lead generation strategies.
Product & Service Knowledge
- Stay updated on the company’s software and services
- Explain technical products and services in a clear, non-technical manner to potential customers.
- Keep track of industry trends and competitor offerings.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Maintain an organised database of leads and track all call activities in the CRM system.
Sales Targets & Reporting
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, lead conversions, and pipeline progress.
- Work closely with the sales team to optimise sales strategies.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work with marketing teams to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns.
- Attend sales training and workshops to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Provide feedback to management on customer needs, challenges, and potential improvements.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years in telesales, preferably in IT, technology, or SaaS sales.
- A background in IT sales, business development, or account management is advantageous.
- Experience using CRM systems.
Technical & Sales Skills
- Strong understanding of IT products, services, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
- Ability to handle objections and negotiate deals effectively.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
