Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 dependent on experience

Job Summary
Working alongside and assisting the Finance Director in the preparation and production of monthly accounts and management reports for the group. You will control the end-to-end process to work within the Group of companies, providing accounts and weekly reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts payable duties
- Processing of purchase invoices
- Statement reconciliations
- Preparation of the monthly and ad-hoc supplier payments
- External & internal queries
Accounts Receivable Duties
- Producing monthly and ad-hoc invoices as required
- Credit control (including Direct Debit collection)
- Account reconciliations
- External & internal queries
Other Duties
- Bank reconciliations
- Direct Debit collections
- Production of the monthly management accounts for review with the Finance Director
- Full ownership of the sales, purchase and nominal ledgers
- Preparation of the Purchase Ledger and Balance Sheet including any necessary reconciliation
- To complete the quarterly VAT returns
- Additional administrative and ad-hoc duties as required to support the Finance Director and/or the wider businesses within the group with questions & guidance as required.
- Ensuring accurate upkeep of the software used within the finance function (Opera, Business Central and SuperOffice CRM). Experience in use of these products desired but not essential.

Experience
- The role would suit someone part qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or QBE
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills beneficial
- Experience of Business Central & Opera desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills to be able to deal with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
