Jared Spataro, Corporate Vice President for Microsoft 365 has announced that Office 365 and Microsoft 365 will see prices increasing from 1st March 2022 for commercial and business users.
Education clients will not see a price increase in March 2022. The prices have remained the same for over a decade and since then there have been 25 applications added including Teams, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Apps and Forms to name a few.
The announcement confirms that Microsoft 365 Business Basic plan will see a 20% increase, with Microsoft 365 Business Premium a 10% increase. Package E1 will see 25% increase, E3 a 15% increase and E5 an 8.5% increase. Microsoft 365 E3 will increase by 12.5%.
