Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015 has now been released to partners worldwide.
The next version of Dynamics NAV, Microsoft’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) product for small and midsize businesses (SMBs), is still set for general release for customers in October 2014.
After first unveiling the product in July during the Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC), Dynamics NAV 2015 was presented to 600 representatives from the US NAV Partner Community in September at Direction US, with amazing feedback to date.
Early reports suggest that the new tablet experience was highly regarded by partners, achieving a 92% Standard Usability Score. This feature allows users to get access to data that they need from the device they prefer, offering a fresh modern interface for working on the go. The new upgrade tools, which include several enhancements for upgrading solutions, were also welcomed. Easy customisation has always been the key to NAV’s success to date and these tools reduce the costs associated with upgrading customizations from one release to another by 75%.
Enhanced functionality, effective improvements in the user interface and stronger integration with Microsoft products will allow businesses that switch to NAV solutions to be more flexible and adapt to new opportunities and growth.
Andy Hughes, Technical Director at Synergy Technology, commented “We are looking forward to diving into the latest release of Dynamics NAV and preparing clients for more seamless upgrades moving into the future”
