The SuperOffice Outlook link will not work with the new version of Outlook
As you may be aware, Microsoft is currently rolling out a new version of Outlook. The new app is currently available via a toggle in the top right corner of the current Outlook desktop application that says “Try the New Outlook.”
At the moment, the SuperOffice link for Outlook will not work in the new Outlook app, meaning that any users opting to use this new client will lose SuperOffice link features such as email and attachment archiving, and contact linking. Because of this, it is strongly recommended that SuperOffice users do not upgrade yet, and stick to the local Windows version until notified otherwise.
Don’t worry if you have already clicked the button to try the new Outlook app, this decision is reversible, and you can opt to revert to the local version at any time.
Note: The new Outlook client only supports Exchange-backed Microsoft 365 work or school accounts, Outlook.com accounts, and Gmail. Currently, the new Outlook for Windows does not support other account types like Yahoo!, iCloud, or other account types connecting through POP/IMAP protocols. New Outlook for Windows also does not currently support On-Premises, Hybrid, or Sovereign Exchange deployments.
