An important update has been shared by our partner Pegasus Software regarding the future of the Capital Gold Payroll solution. After careful evaluation, the decision has been made to retire this product, with an official decommissioning date set for 30th March 2026.
Why Is Capital Gold Payroll Being Retired?
Originally launched in 2013, Capital Gold Payroll has supported many businesses for over a decade. However, as technology evolves and compliance requirements become more complex, this software will reach its natural end-of-life stage in 2026, marking the end of its lifecycle after 13 years of service.
What Does This Mean for Existing Users?
The current version of Capital Gold Payroll will remain fully functional until 30th March 2026, ensuring continued use for day-to-day payroll operations up to that point. However, users will not be able to run the 2026 payroll year-end using this product. After decommissioning, the system will only be accessible for historical data reference and record-keeping.
What Comes Next?
Pegasus is in the process of developing a replacement payroll solution, which will be introduced soon. Our partner will be providing detailed information about the new offering and how to transition smoothly from Capital Gold Payroll.
